These are the terms for using Gaun while it is in alpha. They are short because the product is early and because we would rather you read them. They will be replaced by fuller terms before Gaun is generally available, and we will tell you before that happens.

What Gaun is

Gaun is an iPhone app from PodQ Limited that keeps what you tell it as a record you can ask questions of. Access during alpha is by invitation and free of charge. We may change, pause or end the alpha at any time, and we will give you a way to export or delete your record if we do.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 and able to enter into this agreement. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is sent to your Gaun address and for using it only where the people involved would reasonably expect it.

Your data

What you put into Gaun is yours. You give PodQ Limited only the permission it needs to store it, process it and show it back to you, as described in the privacy policy. We claim no other rights to it.

What Gaun says

Gaun marks every statement with how it was established: confirmed, reported, estimated, inferred, or unknown. It will still be wrong sometimes. You are responsible for decisions you take on the strength of what it tells you, and you should check anything that matters against the source it points at.

Acceptable use

Do not use Gaun to store data you have no right to hold, to harass or surveil anyone, to break the law, or to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend an account that does.

Alpha software

Gaun is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and it may lose data, be unavailable or behave in ways we did not intend. To the extent the law allows, PodQ Limited is not liable for loss arising from your use of it during alpha. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending things

You can stop using Gaun and delete your account at any time. We can end your access with reasonable notice, or immediately if these terms are broken.
